Qualifications

  • Experience in Quality in food, medical or similar manufacturing environment, or a degree in related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to learn internal quality standards.
  • Problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out visual inspection of finished product in line with customer specification.
  • Use of laboratory equipment such as viscometer, pH and density meters.
  • Documenting test results and maintaining traceability paperwork.
  • Updating the QMS and ERP systems.
  • Investigating nonconformances.
  • Communicating control results and decisions.
  • Problem solving to enhance product quality.

Yolk Recruitment are managing an exciting new opportunity for someone with a background in Quality Control for a new opportunity with one of South Wales' leading manufacturing businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for you whether you're at the beginning of your career in this field or have more experience behind you as the team has capacity to train, develop and support, or provide more autonomy if you have the experience to take on more.

This is a two shift role, working mornings and afternoons.

This is what you'll be doing
