Job Purpose

To support the Quality department the Quality Systems Coordinator has the responsibility for maintaining quality systems, databases, and other data management requirements in the area. To be the bridge between the site and the customer, sales, customer service.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
  • Assist in the application and enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
  • First contact for customer complaints, dealing with concerns through the business knowledge management system, collecting necessary information to support Operations in RCA.
  • Responsible control of documents, updating existing and implementing new documents, databases within the QMS.
  • Creation and /or updating excel database for customer concern tracking.
  • Responsible for ensuring supplier regulatory requirements are retained within the QMS and available for inspection on request from customer or external auditing authorities.
  • Requesting of questionnaires/food contact/safety data sheets/technical data.
  • Control the internal audit schedule, following up closure of QARs raised.
  • Be part of the internal auditing team and conduct system audits in accordance with BRC issue 7 and ISO 9001:2015 standards, training can be arranged.
  • Assist the Quality manger in the preparation of, and during, on-site or remote link audits, to include BRC, ISO and customer audits.
  • Monitor and control the site calibration database to ensure all calibrations are carried out in full and on time.

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience

  • Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Internal and external facing customer familiarity.
  • Flexible packaging experience preferred but not essential.
  • Organization & Time Management: Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and associated tasks successfully.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Able to generate creative ideas to solve problems and improve work methods; independently apply professional expertise in ways that are unique or innovative; collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative approaches; rethink situations to create new opportunities or overcome obstacles.
  • Flexibility & Achieving Change: Able to positively deal with changes that affect job requirements; adapt to shifting priorities in response to the needs of internal and external customers; quickly recognize situations/conditions where change is needed; work to clarify situations where information, instructions, or objectives are ambiguous; support organizational change.
