Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Greater London is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the on-site Quality function. In this newly created role, you will ensure product quality meets customer and industry standards, manage the Quality team, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates must have relevant experience in food manufacturing, strong knowledge of BRC standards, and excellent communication skills. This role offers a competitive salary between £45,000 and £50,000.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure product quality and compliance by maintaining alignment with customer standards and specifications.
  • Manage and maintain the internal audit schedule, ensuring all audits are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Host and lead external customer visits, accreditation audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact for quality‑related matters.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the site, promoting a culture of high standards and operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar Quality Manager or Senior Quality role within food manufacturing is essential.
  • Previous experience leading and developing a team is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of BRC standards.
  • Excellent understanding of HACCP principles and food safety systems.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Proactive, organised, and quality‑driven with a hands‑on approach.
Salary

£45,000 – £50,000
