Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Morning & Afternoon; potential for night shifts with notice)

Salary - £20.27 per hour while training and then £23.31 per hour rational shifts

What You’ll Do as a Quality Inspector:
  • Perform final inspection of precision sheet metal components.
  • Interpret detailed engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Verify compliance with quality standards, including:
    • Visual inspection and dimensional checks using precision tools.
    • Material traceability and serialization.
    • Completion of quality documentation and system transactions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, TPM, quality clinics).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace.
  • Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication, machining, and quality inspection.
  • Ability to work independently in a medium-volume production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and basic PC literacy.
Essential:
  • Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in a relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency with precision tools (e.g., Vernier calipers, digital gauges).
  • Demonstrated inspection experience.
Desirable:
  • Background in aerospace, motorsport, or similar industries.
Personal Attributes:
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and calm under pressure.
  • Quality-focused and able to support technical discussions.
