Responsibilities include conducting audits, supporting quality improvement activities, and liaising with various stakeholders. Providing assurance against the quality management system & regulatory standards by conducting audits of stamp holders working in the various production environments currently active at Warton unit.
Supporting the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner and providing information to support the relevant reviews.
Supporting the implementation of quality improvement activities and promoting the 'zero defect' philosophy.
Supporting Senior Quality Engineers in liaising between internal & external stakeholders to resolve quality issues and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
Ensuring all required non-conformance management processes are followed.
Involvement in populating quality performance metrics for reporting to the management team.
Driving schedule adherence, carrying out trend analysis, and promoting best practices across the business.
Contributing to the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Management System, including quality policy and processes.
As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure products meet BAE Systems, customer, and regulatory requirements. You will provide guidance and support on all quality-related matters to the wider manufacturing team.
