Job summary

A leading aerospace and defence manufacturer in Coatbridge seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure product compliance and process efficiency in their manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will conduct technical inspections and audits and manage non-conformances. A degree in engineering and quality engineering experience in a high-reliability environment are essential. Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards is preferred.

SRG are delighted to once again be working with one of the UK's leading aerospace and defence manufacturing companies. This organisation, research, develop and produce components that are vital across the aviation industry with some world‑leading clients. As part of continued growth they are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join their high-volume, high-reliability manufacturing site in North Lanarkshire.

About The Role

As Quality Engineer you will work alongside the wider quality team and the quality manager to ensure product compliance and process efficiency across manufacturing and new product introduction. A key part of this role is the technical inspection of finished products as well as performing internal and external audits to the relevant aerospace standards. You will manage non-conformances and lead subsequent corrective actions.

What Are We Looking For?
  • Degree educated in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in a quality engineering role
  • Prior experience in a high reliability manufacturing environment
  • Awareness of and experience working to ISO9001 (AS9100 preferable)
