Overview

Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Blackpool (Full-Time, On-Site)

Salary and Benefits: Up to £35K depending on experience + Bens

About the Role: Our client is a global distributor of Health and Beauty products including cosmetics, parent and child healthcare and hair care products amongst others. They are looking for a confident and articulate QA Assistant to join their busy Quality department. The main responsibility of the role is to help ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of the company\'s portfolio of products and all new product launches.

Key Duties

• Reviewing product artwork for UK/EU compliance.
• Investigate non-conformances, deviations, product complaints and support CAPAs.
• Manage sample approvals.
• Coordinate stability testing and regulatory documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and support audits.
• Monitor regulatory updates and industry trends.
• Participate in internal audits and external supplier / regulatory audits.
• Report monthly Quality KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrable working knowledge of Quality Systems and cGMP from a highly regulated industry such as Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Medical Devices, cosmetics or FMCG manufacturing or distribution.
• Knowledge of ISO 22716, ISO 9001 highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel around the UK and EU occasionally.
