Overview

Qualified PE Teacher

Location: Wolverhampton, Secondary School

Start Date: Autumn Term 2025

Salary: To scale (MPS/UPS)

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and energetic PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Encourage participation and enjoyment in a wide range of physical activities and sports
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with school policies
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management to maintain a positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing
Role Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for PE and sport
  • Good classroom management skills
  • A real passion for teaching and motivating young people
  • A motivated, professional and proactive attitude
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
  • A DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
