Job description

Location: Woolwich, Southeast London
Pay Rate: 25- 30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, curriculum- aligned tuition in GCSE English language and Literature.
• Design personalised learning plans that target specific gaps and exam objectives.
• Support learners with different needs, including those with mild SEN or low confidence.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to enhance comprehension, writing and analysis skills.
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining open communication with parent/ carers or support staff.

Requirement:

• PGCE in Secondary Education or PGCE in English or QTS.
• Minimum 1 year experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
