About The Role:

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • To help up‑skill operational management so that their QHSE competence, confidence and abilities are enhanced
  • To participate in policy and process reviews to help achieve simplicity of access, easy understanding and full implementation
  • To communicate proactively on QHSE issues and, as requested, prepare reports, bulletins and briefs to promote learning
  • To react to emerging challenges and adapt as necessary
  • To support the delivery of QHSE strategic objectives and initiatives targeted at continual QHSE improvement
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
  • Must have Right to Work in the UK
  • General secondary education with a high level of numeracy and literacy
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • TECH IOSH status
  • Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety compliance and statutory requirements placed on the business
  • Extensive practical safety management and delivery experience, preferably in a service, manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment
  • A working knowledge of environmental law is preferred
