• Manage and implement product progress within the QC department.

• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate training records.
• Raise investigations for incidents and lead OOS investigations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Drive, champion, and promote quality practices and behaviours across the department and site.
• Efficiently manage, plan, and implement the progress of products under test within the QC department.
• Lead and develop staff to a high level of proficiency and performance by setting clear expectations, providing timely feedback, and mentoring for continuous improvement.
• Proactively inform collaborators of concerns identified during QC testing or review.
• Ensure audit readiness within the team by maintaining accurate training records.
• Maintain quality standards by raising incident/CAPA investigations and leading OOS (out of specification) investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement through PPI to deliver flawless performance.
• Foster a safety culture to ensure all team members act safely at work every day.

Qualifications

• Degree in a Biological Science or equivalent experience.
• Significant laboratory experience, ideally with a Quality Control testing background.
• Experience using SAP, Quality Management Systems, and MS Office software packages.
