What we are looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Purchasing and Logistics Manager, reporting to the Project Director. You will:

  • Develop and maintain the project supply chain, including supplier negotiation and cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process: vendor assessment, quotations, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, goods receipts and payment confirmations.
  • Manage logistics: set delivery conditions aligned with the project programme, ensure timely material dispatches, and coordinate all logistics requirements with the client.
  • Ensure all activities comply with TKE UK purchasing policies and project requirements; coordinate with the Head of Purchasing as needed.
  • Set budgets for local supply categories and target cost reduction without compromising quality or safety.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and Installation Manager to drive quality, safety and cost efficiencies in the supply chain.
Who you are and what we are looking for
  • Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
  • Ability to add value, reduce costs and drive business improvements.
  • Contract and supplier management experience; strong procurement knowledge and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office (Excel), databases, and eProcurement systems.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational, multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Experience in quality control and planning of supply chains.
  • Flexible, decisive and proactive problem solver; able to influence internal and external suppliers.
  • Manage and execute purchasing tasks within the project team; implement internal purchasing processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts or support local buyers responsible for materials/services; set up vendor lists and performance reviews.
  • Set up vendor onboarding strategies and contract renewal criteria; manage supply chain risks and opportunities during the project.
  • Experience in managing logistics from transport terms to goods receipt.
  • Open to applicants from Senior Buyer, Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, Purchasing Contract Manager and Sourcing Manager.
