  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and accounts.
  • Deal with supplier enquiries via phone, post, or email.
  • Assist with Year End audit and cash book maintenance.

Purchase Ledger Assistant

£24.5K

Full Time 7.30 - 4.45 (early finish on a Friday)

Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Process high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Deal with supplier enquiries either by phone, post, or email
  • Monitor debit PL account balances, processing refunds where necessary
  • Monthly reconciliation of the Purchase Ledger accounts
  • Process all company payments, Stirling and Foreign Currency
  • Reconciliation of all company bank accounts
  • Assist with Year End audit and cash book maintenance
  • GRNI Reconciliation, expenses claims and credit card bills
  • Produce P/L reports for budget holders
Qualifications
  • Intermediate IT skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent numeracy, written and communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience of working in a Purchase Ledger role is essential
  • Experience using EPICORE is advantageous
