Qualifications

  • Ability to coordinate supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Experience in managing invoices and authorisations.
  • Good communication skills for supporting supplier queries.

Responsibilities

  • Code and post purchase invoices into Sage 200 and AP software.
  • Support supplier queries and manage invoice collation.
  • Post bank transactions and manage general account duties.

We're on the hunt for a skilled Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant to bring expertise and energy to our finance function. Reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Team Leader, you'll be part of a dynamic team with diverse backgrounds in both practice and industry. Key Responsibilities
  • Coding and posting purchase invoices into Sage 200 and via our AP software (V1)
  • Coordinating supplier statement reconciliations
  • Managing the collation of invoices from different sources and distributing for authorisation
  • Supporting supplier queries
  • Posting of bank transactions, including supplier and customer allocations
  • Along with further general account duties
Key Skills & Experience
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload efficiently and successfully perform duties under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear understanding of accounting basics
  • Great knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environmentKnowledge of Sage 200 preferred, but not essential

Working Hours & Location

A standard week is 37 Monday to Friday. This is a home-first position, giving you the freedom to work remotely while staying connected with the team. You'll spend one day each week (Tuesday) at our Alderley Edge hub, collaborating face-to-face and sharing ideas. In addition, you'll have access to our network of local hubs across the UK, with occasional ad-hoc travel to other group offices or locations as needed.
