We are currently recruiting for an experienced PTS Electrician to work on a range of rail infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering high-quality electrical works within the rail sector.

The Role

As a PTS Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing works in a rail environment, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with rail industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works on rail projects
  • Work safely in a live rail environment, adhering to all site rules and procedures
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Complete testing, inspection, and fault-finding activities
  • Ensure compliance with rail safety standards, RAMS, and electrical regulations
  • Liaise with site supervisors and project teams to support project delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation
Required Skills & Experience
  • Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification - essential
  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations - essential
  • Experience working within the rail industry
  • ECS / JIB card preferred
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and shifts where required
  • Strong understanding of health & safety in a rail environment
