Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary School
Location: Nottingham
Job Type: Full-Time Term-Time Only
Salary: £88.94 per day - £100 per day

Are you a Psychology graduate with a passion for child development and education? Looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, or child mental health?

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Psychology graduates to register with us to support local Primary settings in and around Nottinghamshire.

This work offers flexible working around you, full or part time. Working hours 8.30-4pm

The Role
  • Support pupils in the classroom, including 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Assist children with additional needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support learning and development
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Observe and report on pupil progress and wellbeing
About You
  • A recent Psychology graduate (or final year student)
  • Interested in education, child psychology, or SEN
  • Patient, empathetic, and confident working with children aged 4-11
  • A team player with strong communication skills
  • Previous experience with children (volunteering, tutoring, youth work) is desirable but not essential
