A local educational institution in Luton is offering an apprenticeship in Property Maintenance. Candidates will perform basic maintenance tasks and gain practical experience while working towards an industry-recognised qualification. Applicants should have GCSEs in English/Maths and a keen interest in the property sector. The role requires strong organizational skills and understanding of health and safety protocols.
Working 37 hours per week for 52 weeks per year. Core hours for this team are 06.30am - 18:00pm, however flexibility is a required as the Site Team support early and late opening of the College as required, for example Open Evenings, or opening early for the Exams Team.
You will learn the ins and outs of maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming college environment while gaining practical experience and working toward an industry-recognised qualification. The successful candidate will gain experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and grounds maintenance; as well as developing a clear understanding of compliance checks and legislation.
