The Role: Shape the Future of Conveyancing in the Midlands

As a Property Lawyer, you will manage a diverse and high-quality caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion. This includes leasehold, new build, and shared ownership matters. Working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you'll ensure a smooth transaction process for clients while meeting both individual and team performance targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and new builds
  • Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, agents, solicitors, and stakeholders
  • Use the firm's bespoke in-house case management system to progress files and ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Meet individual and departmental KPIs and service standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including AML protocols and CQS standards
What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a conveyancing fee-earning role
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of residential conveyancing
  • Experience with leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software, including Land Registry portal and SDLT submissions
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Confident communicator with a client-centric approach

Desirable:

  • Experience using bespoke case management systems
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing legislation and compliance best practices
