A healthcare organization in the UK is looking for a Property and Facilities Support Officer to assist in managing estates services across PFI sites. The role will involve supervising contractors in clinical environments and ensuring compliance with patient safety protocols. The post holder will provide effective assistance to the Property & PFI team, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of estates and facilities services across Trust-managed PFI sites.
The role involves working within live clinical environments, predominantly on mental health wards, where there is a high likelihood of direct patient and service-user interaction. Such interactions may at times be challenging or uncomfortable, requiring the post holder to maintain professionalism, empathy, and composure. Appropriate training and guidance will be provided to ensure safety and confidence in these situations.
The main responsibilities of the post holder are to escort and supervise contractors working in live clinical wards, ensuring compliance with infection control, confidentiality, security and safeguarding requirements.
The programme of works is scheduled to take 12 weeks and the works will be undertaken Mon - Friday during core business hours.
