Job summary

A local government authority in Glasgow is looking for a project coordinator to support city planning efforts with a focus on women's equality. The role entails assisting in the delivery of projects and strategies while collaborating with various stakeholders. Candidates should have HND level education and experience in project management. This temporary position lasts up to 2 years.

Qualifications

  • Educated to HND level in a relevant subject.
  • Experience and working knowledge of programme delivery.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience of working with a range of stakeholders is desirable.
  • RTPI membership or similar is desirable.

Overview

As part of Glasgow City Council's commitment to put women and equality at the centre of City Planning and Policy Development this newly created post is an exciting opportunity to assist in delivery of this cross-service workstream. You will be working to a team manager in the Planning service and also closely with the Head of Planning and other key stakeholders including elected Members in providing support in the delivery of projects, strategies and guidance. This includes supporting the work of the feminist urbanism cross party Working Group.
