Overview

Project Supervisor
£45,000 to £54,000 plus up to 6% bonus, overtime and company car
Warrington
This role involves travel/overnight stays to work at various sites across the North region of the UK, approx. 3 days a week.

About the role

As a Project Supervisor for National Gas Services, you'll plan, oversee, coordinate and document all aspects of specific projects across our internal workbook on the National Transmission System and our external customer workbook. You’ll assist in developing scope, coordinating design phases and monitoring project delivery. You'll manage all planned work using allocated resources to produce a cost-effective, customer-focused and efficient service within budget.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervising project life cycle activities on a day-to-day basis to meet business objectives and ensure efficient work practices.
• Overseeing a mixture of direct labour and contract resources while delivering both Principal Contractor Projects and Specialist Sub-contractor Projects.
• Keeping contractors updated on new techniques and codes of practice.
• Managing and supervising multi-disciplined teams.
• Conducting STCs and site audits.
• Driving value through staff engagement.
• Coordinating design phases and monitoring project delivery.
• Frequent travel and overnight stays across the North region of the UK.

You'll be someone who thrives in a dynamic project environment and has a strong understanding of both high- and low-pressure gas networks. You’ll be confident managing teams and contractors, and you’re committed to delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused services.

Key requirements & experience

• Sound awareness of CDM regulations
• Experience acting as both Principal Contractor and Specialist Sub-Contractor
• Strong understanding of high- and low-pressure gas networks (pipelines and AGI's)
• Proven ability to supervise multi-disciplined teams and contractors
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay overnight as required
• Full UK car driving licence
