About the Opportunity

A leading defence and aerospace organisation is significantly expanding its Project Controls function and seeking talented Project Controllers and Project Planners across multiple experience levels. The Role

As part of the Project Controls team, you'll provide essential support across cost, schedule, risk and performance management. Working closely with project managers, engineers and stakeholders, you'll ensure programmes are delivered on time and within budget, identifying risks and issues early.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting project health assessments and identifying risks and issues
  • Validating and maintaining project schedules across major programmes
  • Building and managing integrated baseline schedules
  • Analysing costs, forecasts and project performance data
  • Leading schedule risk analysis where appropriate
  • Supporting bid teams and new business activity with robust planning input

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in project planning, controls or scheduling within engineering, defence, aerospace or similar complex environments
  • Knowledge of project structures such as WBS, CBS or OBS
  • Ability to interpret and analyse performance data across cost, schedule and resources
  • Familiarity with project control tools such as Primavera, MS Project, SAP, ARM or Oracle Unifier
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to influence across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of baseline management, change control and earned value management (advantageous)
