This thriving South Wales manufacturer is looking to strengthen its existing Manufacturing function, following the acquisition of a number of lucrative new contracts. The company has an enviable reputation for design excellence and is the supplier of choice for many of the world's leading equipment manufacturers.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management of projects from the enquiry stage through to manufacturing, ensuring handover to the customer on time and to budget.
  • Oversee the Design and Validation plan for New Projects and develop cost reduction programmes in line with customer needs.
  • Within the APQP process be the point of contact with the customer, interface with engineering, quality, purchasing and logistics.
  • Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and work instructions.
  • Support the Purchasing team in developing existing and new suppliers ensuring the APQP programme requirements are met.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Ideally hold an Engineering related Qualification - BEng / HNC / HND etc
  • At least 3 years Project Management experience
  • Experienced in Project managing products from customer enquiry to customer handover.
