Job description

Role: Project Manager Tenant Involvement

Contract Type: 9-month fixed term contract/secondment opportunity

Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week, Thursday, Friday 7.4 hours per day, Wednesday, 3.7 hours per day

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Grade H - Starting Salary is £40,777 (Level one) rising to £44,075 (Level four) per annum

Location: Harvey Road, NG8 or Loxley House, NG2

About The Role

As a Tenant Involvement Project Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of a wide range of tenant and leaseholder involvement projects, ensuring they meet statutory and regulatory requirements such as the Social Housing White Paper, the Building Safety Bill, and the Tenants Charter. You will be responsible for driving forward Nottingham City Council Housing Services Tenant Engagement Strategy, putting tenants and leaseholders at the heart of decision-making and service improvement. The role involves managing and evaluating projects that promote participation, health, and wellbeing, while building strong partnerships with local organisations, funders, and community groups. You will oversee grant applications, financial processes, and audits to ensure value for money and compliance, as well as provide operational and strategic support to the Head of Involvement. Acting as a key point of contact for tenants, leaseholders, and partner agencies, you will champion collaboration, promote equality and inclusion, and create meaningful opportunities for residents to influence the services that affect their homes and communities.
