Job summary

A global logistics company is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Daventry. This role involves managing cross-functional projects in robotics and automation, working with engineering teams in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has a strong Project Management background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively between technical and operational teams. Up to £475 per day, on-site 2 days a week, with a minimum length of 6 months.

Overview

I'm currently supporting a global logistics company in their search for a Project Manager in a 'bridging-the-gap' role, working alongside engineering teams building world-class robotics and automation systems, and act as the vital link between them and our Ops & Technology teams.

Title: Project Manager - Engineering & Technology

Location: Daventry (2 Days On-Site)

Rate: Up to £475/pd Inside IR35

Start: ASAP

Length: 6 Months Minimum

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver cross-functional projects involving robotics, automation, and AI integration
• Work closely with engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Help drive the deployment of AI-driven systems into large-scale warehouse operations
• Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven Project Management experience in automation, manufacturing, or automotive
• Strong background working closely with engineering / technical teams
• A technology-aware PM - understands how to speak 'engineer' and 'operations'
• Comfortable operating in agile and fast-paced environments
• A natural bridge-builder with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Preferably, Exposure to robotics or AI-driven automation
• Experience with warehouse / logistics / supply chain environments
