Overview

Project Manager - Roofing Division. Location: Sheffield (with UK-wide travel). Salary: £55,600 + Company Car + Annual Bonus Scheme. Hours: Full-time | Monday - Friday | 40 hours per week. Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in roofing and construction? Looking to lead high-impact projects with a well-established business?

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of construction projects across multiple business sectors, including:

  • Structural Refurbishment
  • Structural Waterproofing
  • Movement Joints
  • Liquid Roofing

While the position is based in Sheffield, the successful candidate will need to travel to project sites across the UK as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage regional construction projects to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
  • Provide project planning, scope definition, and communication across teams and stakeholders.
  • Attend pre-start meetings and lead client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials, plant, and PPE within budget.
  • Work closely with site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Support daily reporting, audits, and ongoing risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with commercial, SHEQ, and logistics teams to align objectives.
  • Manage and approve project costs, including invoices and weekly revenue reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote a “right-first-time” approach.
  • Contribute to project bids and commercial estimates when required.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has strong experience in construction project management, with a focus on roofing (essential).
  • Brings a proven track record of managing complex projects within the sector.
  • Holds SMSTS certification (desirable).
  • Can demonstrate effective leadership, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
  • Is motivated, organised, and committed to delivering high standards.
  • Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Is comfortable travelling to sites across the UK.
