Overview

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in construction or flooring installation? Our client – a leading name in commercial flooring solutions – is seeking a dedicated, organised, and proactive Project Manager to oversee high-quality flooring projects from start to finish.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of flooring installations across multiple sites, on time and within budget. You’ll coordinate labour and materials, manage subcontractors, maintain client relationships, and uphold strict compliance with ISO (IMS-BSI) and FSC standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values quality, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of flooring installation projects
  • Plan labour and materials, ensuring timely delivery to site
  • Review project specs, exclusions, and construction programmes
  • Prepare and issue look-ahead programmes and site schedules
  • Conduct regular site inspections and attend project meetings
  • Maintain strong client relationships and professional conduct on site
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and ISO standards
  • Manage financial elements including job sheets, invoicing, and QS coordination
  • Keep accurate site diaries and documentation
  • Lead snagging/de-snagging proactively – quality first, every time
  • Submit regular site updates and photos for internal use
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in project management within construction or flooring
  • Strong understanding of site logistics, planning, and labour coordination
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and CSCS requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive approach
  • Comfortable using internal systems for reporting and compliance
Desirable
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 frameworks
  • Understanding of FSC procedures
