Overview

Job Description

We're seeking a driven BMS Project Manager to join our team in the North West, leading the delivery of complex building management system projects from design to handover. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership, customer engagement, and commercial awareness.

What you'll do
  • Prioritise health & safety, ensuring compliance and best practice across all projects
  • Design & deliver multiple BMS projects, managing budgets, procurement, forecasting, and variations
  • Oversee engineering design, I/O schedules, ops descriptions, control panel approvals, plant schematics, and O&M documentation
  • Coordinate and schedule commissioning engineers
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members to achieve project success
  • Act as the key customer contact, attending site meetings and ensuring customer-first focus
  • Identify and mitigate risks, problem-solve, and ensure milestones are achieved
What you'll need
  • Strong technical knowledge of building automation, BMS, and control systems
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and energy management
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify efficiencies and deliver value
  • Knowledge of Schneider products / EcoStruxure, but not essential
