Job summary

A leading construction and engineering firm is seeking a CSO Project Manager to join their team at Finham Sewage Treatment Works. This role involves overseeing health and safety measures, managing project delivery, and fostering client relationships. A relevant degree and knowledge of NEC contracts are required. The position offers hybrid working options and flexible hours.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a regulated sector.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Robust subcontract administration and management experience.
  • Capable of organizing yourself and others.
  • Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor SHE policies according to the Kier integrated management system.
  • Engage with workforce on Health, Safety and wellbeing.
  • Own the programme and advise the project planner on timely delivery.
  • Liaise with clients and management for smooth project delivery.
  • Develop relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Overview

We're looking for CSO Project Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Finham Sewage Treatment Works.

Location: Finham Sewage Treatment Works - hybrid working available

Hours: 45 hours per week - Can offer flexible start/end working times if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation and monitoring of SHE policies and procedures in accordance with the Kier integrated management system
  • Engage with direct and supply chain workforce on matters of Health, Safety and wellbeing, leading by example on principal indicators to promote engagement
  • Programme ownership and providing advice to the project planner Leading projects from conception through to handover, ensuring timely and smooth delivery.
  • Liaison with client and management to ensure smooth project delivery with high standards of customer service as a priority
  • Development of new and existing relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders, with demonstration of leadership, man-management, developmental and motivational skills.
What are we looking for?
  • You have a relevant degree (or equivalent) and or sufficient experience within a regulated sector.
  • You have strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
  • You are commercially and operationally with robust subcontract administration and management experience.
  • You are capable of organising yourself and others and communicating clearly with different levels of stakeholder
  • Full driving licence
