Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet specifications.

This position reports to the Technical Manager and is based at the Cytiva Portsmouth Technical Office on Walton Road, Portsmouth. It is an on-site role.

What You Will Do

• Manage contract work from inquiry to completion, communicating with customers to oversee submissions, design reviews, etc.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project progress to internal and external stakeholders, including budget, technical, and scheduling updates during review meetings.
• Control all Project Engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, relevant standards, and internal procedures from inquiry through contract completion.
• Support and lead engineering solutions to internal non-conformances, customer issues, and change requests within agreed timelines.
• Utilize internal processes and systems to standardize our approach to engineering and project management.

Who You Are

• Demonstrable project management skills.
• Knowledge of pressure vessel products across industries such as biopharmaceutical, water, chemical, micro-electronics, nuclear, and food & beverage.
• Willingness to research and make engineering decisions.
• Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects and meeting targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Requirements

Hold a full, clean UK driving license.

Willing to work occasional unsocial hours and travel abroad as needed.
