Job Description
Project Manager for a contract role managing the implementation of a new baggage system in Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating with various teams and sub-contractors to ensure project goals are met within the approved budget and timeframe.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to telecommunications and airport operations.
- Conducting post-project evaluation and reporting to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in project management within the telecommunications sector, particularly in airport or other highly regulated environments.
- Hands on experience with ICS Cable.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Problem-solving expertise and the ability to mitigate risks proactively.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the aviation and telecommunications sectors.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification, or equivalent is advantageous.
