Job Description

Project Manager for a contract role managing the implementation of a new baggage system in Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with various teams and sub-contractors to ensure project goals are met within the approved budget and timeframe.
• Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
• Monitoring project progress and providing regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to telecommunications and airport operations.
• Conducting post-project evaluation and reporting to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience in project management within the telecommunications sector, particularly in airport or other highly regulated environments.
• Hands on experience with ICS Cable.
• Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Problem-solving expertise and the ability to mitigate risks proactively.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the aviation and telecommunications sectors.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification, or equivalent is advantageous.
