Project Manager – Contract (Financial Services)

London (3 days onsite)

(£450 per day – Inside IR35)

3 month initial contract

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading financial services client on a contract basis. This role requires a hands‑on delivery‑focused professional who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and operating within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and maintain a detailed project plan in MS Project, alongside an executive‑level “Plan on a Page”
  • Clearly identify, define, and document project scope
  • Create and maintain project governance documentation, including Terms of Reference, Project Initiation Document (PID)
  • Lead stakeholder management, identifying key stakeholders and roles, and ensuring effective ongoing communication
  • Establish and manage meeting governance, including working group and senior stakeholder forums
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations, papers, and updates in advance of meetings
  • Drive delivery of the project plan through to completion, ensuring milestones and outcomes are achieved
  • Proactively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID)
  • Manage handover and project closure, ensuring all deliverables are completed and signed off
