Overview

Project Manager – Fixed-Term Contract | 10 months minimum (Start early October 2025). Location: Watford area (office and sites). Salary: £70K- £75K / Year. Reference: J29239. Contract: Fixed-Term, 10 months minimum. Pay: PAYE or Ltd Company. Working pattern: 3 days on site, 1 day WFH, 1 day at the office.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the project (with the QS supporting); client liaison; design team liaison.
• Deal with constraints of consultants and PQS; operate within D&B contract processes; understand design approval procedures for contractors.
• Develop construction programmes using Microsoft Projects; assemble programme from estimating team inputs; oversee sequencing of works and how the project should be run.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager with D&B office fit-out experience (Cat A / Cat B); strong programming competency; experience liaising with architects and PQS.
• Ability to commute to office and sites; sites include Oxford/Home Counties; comfortable travelling as needed.
• Strong client-facing communication, time management, and ability to work in a small, values-driven business environment.

They have an excellent client base within the racing car sector, with ongoing work for leading names within their UK headquarters. Other clients include banks, law firms, and commercial clients. Head office in Essex. Projects across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and around the M25 corridor.
