- A degree in a related technical field (environmental / civil engineering) or equivalent experience
- Existing experience of working in Water or Flood Risk Management in the private or public sector (such as the Environment Agency, Lead Local Flood Authorities, Internal Drainage Boards, Canal & River Trust, or Water Companies)
- Experience of using NEC 3 / NEC 4 ECC contract management (ideally ECC Project Manager Accredited)
- Able to ensure appropriate stages of projects comply with Management of Contractors Direction, and ensure all parties are aware of obligations under Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations 2015
- Ideally experienced in using either MS Project
- Proven experience of leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of developing and managing project budgets and cost plans, reflecting changes in the project
- Experience of facilitating project meetings, preparing minutes, and regular reporting on all aspects of the project including budget, cost, programme and progress, risk registers, safety, and quality
- Able to monitor performance of project suppliers (internal and external) and their compliance with specified requirements and health and safety
- Experience of stakeholder engagement both internally and externally on projects or responding to customer queries and requests for information
- A full UK driving licence
- Chartered or working towards chartered status
