About the Employer

With offices just outside London as well as in Central London, this specialist contractor completes a variety of packages for top tier developers, main contractors and private clients both in and around London. With one of their divisions having early involvement at the enabling works stages carrying out remediation and demolition works, this business is then able to take projects through groundwork, basement, and foundations stages through to the construction of reinforced concrete frames and structures. Project values vary but average current package sizes range from £10m to £50m each, on a mixture of residential, mixed-use, industrial, infrastructure, and energy projects.

About the Opportunity

With new projects being secured, this business is looking to recruit a number of experienced Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Project Directors for the schemes they have starting in Q1 and Q2 of next year.

Whether you are working on a £10m package or a £50m+ package the expectation remains the same; as the lead on your project you will be expected to oversee everything from programme, through to budget. Client relationships should be developed and it will be your responsibility to organize, plan and execute the works involved on multi-million pound groundwork and RC frame packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from programme through to budget management on RC frame and groundwork packages.
• Develop client relationships and oversee planning, execution, and delivery of multi-million pound schemes.
• Coordinate activities across RC frame, groundwork, basement, and foundations stages.
• Manage project documentation, milestones, and communications with stakeholders.

About the Requirements

• Degree qualification in civil engineering or construction management.
• Strong history from site engineer level through to project management over the last 5-10+ years.
• Extensive concrete frame construction background with experience in UK concrete frame and groundwork subcontractors; candidates from solely main contract or development backgrounds cannot be considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software, standard email, and Asta Power Project for planning/programming.

I need Project Managers who have stable backgrounds, have delivered medium to large RC frames and are looking to work for the best of the best.
