An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Director or an accomplished Senior Project Manager looking to step up, to lead a flagship £100m building project for a leading Tier 1 construction contractor. This is a career-defining role offering full responsibility as No.1 on the project, reporting directly to the Operations Director and leading a large, experienced project team on a prestigious scheme in South Wales.

The Role - Project Director / Senior Project Manager

• Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a £100m+ construction project
• Acting as Project Lead / No.1 on site
• Direct reporting line to the Operations Director
• Managing programme, commercial performance, quality, health & safety and client relationships
• Leading, motivating and developing site and project teams
• Driving build strategy, risk management and project governance

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or Project Manager on large‑scale building projects
• Background working for a Tier 1 or large Tier 2 construction contractor
• Experience delivering high‑value (£50m‑£100m+) construction projects
• Strong leadership, commercial and client‑facing skills
• Ability to take full ownership and accountability for project delivery
