A leading project management company in Waterbeach seeks an organized Project Administrator to support various project activities. Ideal candidates will have extensive administration experience in project-based settings and possess excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with JIRA is required. A supportive environment with varied responsibilities awaits, emphasizing teamwork and proactive problem-solving.
The role: Understand a structured project development process and life cycle. Take on challenges and see them through to completion with a positive attitude. Coordinate and facilitate effective team communication. Be self-motivated and highly organised with regard to time and in resources. Demonstrate attention to detail. Understand project objectives and goals, helping team members organise the resources needed. Track / drive project activities to completion, identifying and raising risks and issues where they might impact schedule or cost. Track and administer project financials such as labour, non-labour and capital expenses. Prepare monthly reports to highlight spend variances - planned vs. actuals. Support administration tasks such as creation of Purchase Orders, purchase requisitions, receipt of parts deliveries, end of month processes, and updating project risks budget. Embrace change, look to the future and proactively identify and escalate potential issues. Convey project information and requests clearly and concisely either written or verbally. Work independently with limited supervision. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
