Programme Leader – Maths & English

We are seeking a Programme Leader for our Maths and English department to promote and provide an excellent learning experience which ensures high achievement for all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach effectively on a range of programmes across the Division's Curriculum.
  • Accurately assess and monitor student work to assure high achievement and progression.
  • Contribute fully to divisional and College teams, sharing best practice and being involved in developing the curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of relevant GCSE and Functional Skills specifications within the Division.
  • Knowledge of current issues in the sector relevant to the division.
  • Experience of successful teaching of subject specialism.
  • Experience of managing large data sets to inform next steps and measure performance.

Salary: £41,983 - £47,271.

Location: On-site delivery at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre.
