Job description

SETsquared is a partnership of the universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey.

To coordinate and deliver activities and programmes across the six Universities there is a small team headed up by the SETsquared Innovation Director, employed by University of Bath. The Programme Coordinator role will be part of the SETsquared Programme team reporting to the Investment Programme Manager.

Overview

SETsquared runs a large number of high-profile events and training programmes each year including showcases for international business investors and presentations to political stakeholders at the House of Commons. The showcases, presentations and training programmes bring together scale-up businesses, investors, corporates as well as senior academic and political audiences from across the South of England with the purpose of helping start-up, scale-up and spin-out businesses to grow and deliver economic impact. The role of Programme Coordinator will provide professional support for this important activity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional support for SETsquared events and training programmes.
  • Coordinate activities and programmes across six partner universities.
  • Support the Programme team and report to the Investment Programme Manager.
  • Engage with staff and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation.

Further information

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week, for a fixed-term period of 12 months.
