This position sits in our Creative & Media craft. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through innovative digital marketing solutions. We plan, create and execute a variety of world class campaigns, from culture lead, social first content to award-winning integrated creative campaigns that have been built from data lead strategies and insights. Our clients include Just Eat Takeaway, Victoria's Secret, TikTok, The White Company, Meta, Pepsico, EasyJet and many more.

JOB PURPOSE

Here at DEPT, we are proud of the award winning, creative campaigns and content that we produce for a range of exciting and well known brands and we believe that our Media Team is pivotal in the success of those campaigns. Our Media Team is made up of both paid and organic media specialists and we are looking for new Programmatic Specialists to join the team to service an exciting new client.

We are seeking a highly motivated Programmatic specialist to join our team. The Programmatic specialist will be responsible for managing programmatic campaigns across multiple platforms, optimising campaigns for performance, providing insights and recommendations to clients, and contributing to programmatic best practices within the team.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage programmatic campaigns across multiple platforms, including DV360, The Trade Desk, alongside other DSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges
  • Optimise campaigns for performance, including bid management, targeting, and creative optimisation
  • Analyse campaign data to provide insights and recommendations to clients
  • Deliver and present work with data-driven insight and analytics both internally and externally
  • Contribute insights and strategic media thinking to projects that span all areas of the business
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute programmatic strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Respond to client (internal and external) briefs
  • Deliver media plans to the highest possible standard
  • Ensure delivery of work is to the highest possible standard
  • Contribute to our creative process by sharing your ideas and experience
  • Complete work to deadlines
Skills and previous experience
  • Relevant & proven experience in programmatic advertising, with a knowledge of the Google Stack
  • Understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide insights and recommendations based on data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience presenting plans to senior clients and internal teams
  • Experience in managing programmatic campaigns in video, display, digital audio, digital outdoor, and CTV channels
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in the use of Excel/Sheets and familiarity with Word/Docs and PowerPoint/Slides
  • An inquisitive and numeric mindset
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment
