PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR / DAYS / LIVERPOOL AREA / SALARY £35,000 + BENEFITS

Is a leading manufacturing company based in the East Liverpool area with a long history of producing high quality product's - a requirement for a Production Supervisor has arisen

Role

This role will suit a Production Supervisor who recognises “what good looks like” and has a clear understanding of manufacturing principles. It will also require an individual who will recognise the expertise and knowledge of the business owners and take on board their views of what works and then improve upon them. If you have the ability to combine these two approaches you will be a success in a role that offers a real challenge. There is a flat structure in the factory and a headcount of 12, so the role will be suitable for a hands-on individual who thrives on day to day decision making and direct man management. Your challenge is to bring a professional manufacturing approach to drive improvement from KPI's to labour usage etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to a small manufacturing team (headcount 12) to drive day-to-day decisions and direct supervision.
• Bring a professional manufacturing approach to drive improvements from KPI performance to labour usage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business owners to understand current processes and implement practical improvements.
• Manage and develop the team to ensure consistent production output and quality.

The Person

You will be a confident and experienced Production Supervisor from a manufacturing background. You will have a positive approach and really thrives on improving production through hands-on, real time management of processes, people and performance. You must be comfortable dealing with potentially difficult situations with a constructive outcome and be consistent, positive and energetic in your approach.
