A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Production Planner to be at the heart of operations, driving efficiency and ensuring smooth production processes.

You will play a central role in organising workload across multiple stages of production materials planning, managing resources, and you'll be part of an inspiring team, working to meet customer requirements while contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate production processes.
  • Support time studies to keep capacity data accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain and update works orders within the company's MRP system.
  • Assist with maintaining adequate stock levels and raw materials in line with business requirements.
  • Prioritise urgent orders and work with shop floor team to build a collaborative approach.
  • Regularly review planned work against material availability and customer requirements.
  • Assist in the management of resources, deal with machinery maintenance and breakdowns.
  • Collaborating with management and other departments, purchasing and supply chain.
Experience and Skills Required
  • Background in manufacturing with experience in production planning or scheduling.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with shopfloor operators and stakeholders and all departments.
  • A proactive mindset, flexible approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
