Who are we looking for?

This job is on a two week alternating shift pattern - Early shift: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 4pm & Late shift: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday no shift

We are seeking a Production Operator - specialising in materials handling - to work in our dispatch area.

You will be required to:

• Ensure safe collection and storage of finished products.
• Collateand package Customer orders in accordance with packing specifications and customer requirements.
• Storage and distribution of materials to meet operational objectives and internal customers’ requirements.

What will you be doing?

• Operate and carry out daily checks on materials handling equipment.
• Loading of vehicles and containers.
• Offloading and checking of deliveries.
• Locate materials into Despatch locations.
• Supply materials from Despatchlocations.
• Report transactions within SAP.
• Picking and packing of Customer orders.
• Reporting and labelling through SAP and other computerised systems.
• Housekeeping in Despatch locations.
• Carry out stocktaking duties.
• Occasional driving duties are required.
• Adhere to company and departmental policies/procedures.

Who are You?

• Certified driver of Manual Handling equipment.
• Fully trained to carry out necessary reporting on SAP and other computerised systems.
• Able to assemble and pack external orders and pick and deliver internal requisitions.
• Ability to source information if needed.
• Able to prioritise workload.
