Production Operative - Nights
Location: Cannock (WS11)
Contract: Temp / Temp-to-Perm
Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am | 4 on / 4 off
Pay: £15.86 per hour (£12.21 base rate + £3.66 shift bonus)


Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading building materials manufacturer in Cannock, looking to expand their team due to increased production volumes and ongoing site improvements.
This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn multiple aspects of the production process.Full training will be provided, including an initial day shift induction period of up to 6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packing finished products
  • Performing quality checks
  • Cleaning machinery, equipment, and factory floors after production
  • Routine greasing, oiling, and minor maintenance tasks
  • Painting gangways and machinery
  • Supporting production operations as needed
  • Working safely and adhering to H&S standards
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards (5S)
  • Supporting development of SSOPs and Risk Assessments


What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment
  • Good timekeeping and flexible attitude
  • Self-motivated and capable of working alone or as part of a team
  • Willingness to undergo further training and upskilling
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to health & safety


Training:
Initial training will take place on day shifts (up to 6 weeks).Additional training may also be scheduled on days throughout employment.
