Yard Operative – Nights

Outskirts of Newark | Sunday to Wednesday | 6pm – 6am | £14.92ph + £18.43ph for extra shifts

Are you looking for a rewarding, hands-on role with excellent earning potential and the chance to build a long-term career? We’re recruiting for a Yard Operative (Nights) to join a fast-paced, well-established operation on the outskirts of Newark.

Own transport is essential due to the rural location.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Shunting trailers and preparing them for despatch
• Operating forklifts (Counterbalance license advantageous)
• Ensuring smooth yard operations through safe and efficient working practices
• Supporting the night team with general yard duties as needed
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

This role is ideal for someone who is confident working around HGVs and large trailers, enjoys physical work, and thrives in an outdoor, fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Need

• A valid forklift licence (Counterbalance preferred)
