Principal Duties

• Driving volumes and quality
• Involvement in Quality issues, ensuring low wastage.
• Aiming for excellent housekeeping standards at all times
• Liaising and communicating with team members effectively
• Liaising with engineers, for example on breakdowns and technical issues
• Identifying issues on the plant to Team Leaders / Shift Manager
• Ensuring changeovers run smoothly
• Ensuring stoppages are kept to a minimum
• Completion of the production report spreadsheet in a detailed and accurate manner.
• Attendance of production meetings when requested.
• Ensure that effective implementation of the company Health & Safety policy is maintained and that all legislation pertaining to safety, COSHH and environmental rulings are complied with.
• Ensure risk assessments and safe operating procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Undertake designated tasks as allocated by Managers.
• Production duties include : Operation of Production Line, manual handling, & Flt driving.
