About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Profile Operatives to join our client's dynamic production team at their Rotherham facility.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are completed to the highest standards within a fast‑paced and forward‑thinking environment.

This is a rotating shift position offering stability, excellent benefits, and long‑term career growth.

Shift Patterns

• Days : Monday - Thursday 06 : 00-14 : 00, Friday 06 : 00-12 : 30
• Afternoons : Monday - Thursday 13 : 00-21 : 00, Friday 12 : 00-18 : 30
• Nights : Monday - Thursday 20 : 30-06 : 00, Friday 18 : 00-03 : 00

Key Responsibilities

• Operate profile machinery including lasers, plasma, and drill equipment.
• Pick and process customer orders accurately, including the safe handling and movement of heavy materials.
• Record stock movement and usage precisely using computer systems and measuring equipment.
• Operate forklift trucks and cranes to transfer stock safely across the site.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in all daily tasks.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently to meet tight production deadlines.
• Support the overall production and dispatch operations as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience operating profiling machinery or similar CNC equipment.
• A logical, hands‑on approach and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong commitment to health & safety in the workplace.
• Team player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Experience operating cranes, forklifts, or side-loaders is desirable but not essential.
• CNC profile cutting experience (Plasma, Gas, or Laser) is highly advantageous.
