THE ROLEWe are currently supporting with the recruiting for a number of Packers to join our client located in the Wrexham area to help support with their growing business. You will be packing products off a number of high-speed machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as well as ensuring regular visual quality checks are undertaken.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :Slicing and sorting productsChecking of product prior to packagingPalletising and packingTo keep the Shift Supervisor informed of any problems encountered with Production processes and/or equipmentTo pack product in line with Company standards including BRC Global Standards for packagingTo ensure all product is labeled correctlyRequirements from candidate:Eye for detailComfortable working within a food based environmentExperience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferable, ideally within a faced paced environment in a Packing capacityStrong communicationDependable and have a reliable mode of transport to commute to workAble to operate in a sometimes-pressurised environment working to deadlinesTeamworkReporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role with involve working a 6am till 2pm or 2pm till 10pm Monday to FridayHourly Rate of up to £12.30Per HourFor more information or to arrange an interview in your local area please call gap personnel Wrexham branch on 01978 366666.Gap Personnel operating as an employment business are currently recruiting for a Production / Packing Operatives located in Wrexham.
