Overview

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, utilising both power and hand tools to assemble products with precision. This position requires someone with experience using machinery but training is provided.

Shift Pattern
  • Monday - Thursday: 7am - 3:30pm
  • Friday: 7am - 11:30am
  • Overtime Available
Responsibilities
  • Operate various power tools and hand tools to assemble components efficiently.
  • Use machines such as stitching, stapling and semi-automatic machines to assemble cardboard products.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions and adhere to quality control guidelines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a production, manufacturing and a machinery environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with power tools and hand tools is essential for this role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
