Overview

Production Materials Planner

Location: Stevenage SG1 2DL

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday–Friday

Europe Snacks is a fast-growing manufacturing business, and we’re looking for a Production & Materials Planner to join our Supply Chain team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for keeping operations running smoothly, this could be your next move.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and managing daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Planning material supply to ensure stock availability while avoiding shortages and excess.
  • Working closely with manufacturing, warehouse, procurement, and quality teams to keep operations on track.
  • Monitoring capacity, labour, and equipment availability to optimise efficiency.
  • Using ERP/MRP systems (SAP & Sage X3) to keep data accurate and up to date.
  • Reporting on key supply chain KPIs including OTIF and schedule adherence.
  • Identifying and addressing risks in production or material supply.
Qualifications
  • Experience in production planning, materials planning, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident working under pressure and balancing competing priorities.
  • ERP/MRP system knowledge (SAP & Sage X3 essential).
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with attention to detail.
  • A degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
